If its an RFE, it will have instructions to send the medical in. If its a deficiency letter, i.e. courtesy letter, then you need to take the medical to the interview and NOT send it in (as that can delay the case, which is stated in a courtesy letter), unless they send you another letter asking for the medical in am actual RFE.
